“One day”. That is what I would tell myself when I would visit my father’s village. It is what I would tell myself when I saw the condition of schools, when I would see children, children my age, begging on the streets, or when I would pass by the slums in Islamabad. I would tell myself: One day, I will make meaningful contributions to this country. One day, I will help these children. One day, I will work towards making sure that these children have the same opportunities that I have had. Today I work to see that this dream of mine will be realized.
